The Angels won the Bud Selig West for the second time, blowing past the Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals for the 2014 title. The Angels, who won the 2014 title by 11 games, had last won the Bud Selig West title in 2011.

There was basically no competition anywhere the Angels went in 2014, except for the American League playoffs, where they lost in three games to the Kansas City Royals in the divisional round.
The Angels finished 98-64 during their Major League season to win the American League West by 10 games over the Oakland Athletics. They also won the Joe Cronin League by 10 games, and, here in the Bud Selig West, they chalked up a title by 11 games over the Dodgers and St. Louis Cardinals.
The Dodgers and Cardinals have fought mostly between themselves for the Bud Selig West since 2011, but this title for the Angels gives them their second Bud Selig West championship. They won it the first time in 2011 by two percentage points over the Cardinals.
